How does the product search work?
At present we have just a basic product search on the site. Simply enter a keyword into the search box, e.g. 'tubing', and press the 'go' button.
How can I find more information about a product?
Click on the 'more' link by the product. This will take you to a page that shows the product in greater detail. If you still require futher information about a product please contact us.
The item is in your catalogue but I can't find it on the site?
We only show items that are in stock online so it is likely that it is out of stock or discontinued.
When is the website updated?
How do I access the order list?
Throughout the catalogue section, an order summary is always provided. To access the complete order list, click on 'view order'.
How do I add a product to my order list?
Click on the 'Add to order' button next to the product. Adding products to your order does not commit you to buying them.
How do I specify how many of each item I'd like?
Simply type the number of items you require in the quantity box and click on the 'update order' button.
How do I remove a product from my order?
Either change the quantity box to 0 or check the 'remove?' box. After clicking on the 'update order' button, your product will be removed.
How do I place an order?
When all the required items are on your order list, click on the 'place order' button. You will be then guided through completing your personal and delivery details. On the final screen you are given the option of either printing the order to post or fax to us or submitting the order straight to us.
Can I call the DMC to place an order?
We only accept orders by fax, post, email or through this site.
What about security?
At present we do not accept online payments and therefore there is no financially sensitive information inputted. If you have any security concerns please contact us.
How can I pay for my order?
Education and business customers can be invoiced for their orders. Private individuals must pay by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to 'Cornwall County Council'.
When will I recive my order?
We aim to dispatch orders within a week of receiving them but cannot make any guarantees. More details can be found in our delivery section.
What happens if I receive my order and it is damaged or items are missing?
I've returned a product for replacement. When will I receive the replacement?

To use our order list feature, your browser needs to accept "Session Cookies". This cookie is used by us to keep track of the contents of your order list and does not contain any personally identifiable information. It is safe to accept Cookies and when your order is placed or you close your browser, the cookie is destroyed.
